We at the Central Baltic programme wish to thank all of you for this year. We have all had to deal with unexpected challenges, and we had to adapt to new ways of work, but considering what our projects have achieved this year notwithstanding COVID_19, we can only be proud. Reduced services during July

In July, most of our staff is on holiday. This means that we have reduced services at the Secretariat. Unless new information becomes available, we return in August (first and second week) to our Turku office and resume normal operation.

The Monitoring Committee met on 29 April

The Central Baltic programme's Monitoring Committee, consisting of Member State representatives, met on 29 April 2020. The meeting was held online for the first time. In addition to meeting each other virtually, the online meeting also re-defined the concept of a 'group photo' (see picture).
In the meeting, our Head of Managing Authority, Merike Niitepõld gave an update about programme developments, presented the Annual Implementation Report and provided information regarding the continuation of the national Contact Points network.

While many things stand the test of time, Internet is one of those places, where development takes place at a rapid pace. Contact Points in spotlight - Julia Jokelin

Our national Contact Points are the link between the programme and the regions. They follow projects closely to share/spread project results and to communicate the benefits of cross-border cooperation. A while back we introduced you to our national Contact Point network trough a campaign called "Contact Points in spotlight".
